　　歌曲在你的 iPod 裡跟在廣播裡，是天差地遠的差別，你選擇了前者，而宿命的說法會說，是後者選擇了你，我聽過大概1000次 Smashing Pumpkins 的 1979，但是怎麼聽都比不上高中某個週日午後，在悶熱的二樓房間打著CS，而破舊到不行的手提音響傳來的那前奏，是我生命終無法重建的聆聽經驗，因為我必須很嬌揉做作的說，是它選擇了我，那個時空下傳來的電磁波被我長滿灰塵無法播放CD的手提音響接收。

　　Everclear 的這首 AM Radio 一直是能不斷打動我的歌曲，前一陣子在車上無聊轉了轉AM的廣播，好像不超過五台收得到吧，盡是些怪東西，忘了是什麼，只記得有報新聞的，連鄉土的地下電台都沒有，連地下電台都放棄的市場阿，有些淡淡的哀傷。

　　這一段歌詞是我每聽必感動的地方，一個再平凡不過的小子，在搖滾的巨人面前，瞻仰。

　　同樣是廣播的往事，第一次在ICRT聽到 Lenny Kravits 的 It Aint Over Til Its Over，被那光是哼就能令人心情愉快的旋律給吸引，那時候還不知道原來ICRT可以查歌單，於是每次聽ICRT就很期待能撥這首歌，讓我記下幾句歌詞說不定上網查就有，嗯，我記得那是下載最快只有50KB的年代，後來，半夜看MTV台竟然給我撥這首歌啦，高興得要命。我想這首歌在說的就是這種心情，即使你的 iPod 裡已經有了你喜歡的那首歌如此地唾手可得，你仍然像廣告裡的奇異果那樣對著你喜歡的那首歌、在搖滾的巨人面前大叫著「選我！選我！」。
